1998 Toyota Camry No crank no start

Hi. The car was starting fine until this happens. After starting the car about 5 times it stop cranking now I can hear only click sound and dash lights dim every time try to start (no crank no start) I also saw slightly smoking where the starter motor located so I replace with a new one, check all the feuse including the starter rely. All that seems to look fine. Now I tried with a new battery (check terminal cable) it does the same thing only click sound? Can u please tell me what should I do next to find the problem. Thanks
