Subaru Outback Clutch Problem
After replacing the clutch and aligning it correctly, I cannot get the manual transmission back onto my engine block on my 98 Subaru Outback. The input shaft seems to be aligned correctly to the clutch and clutch splines. But the transmission still won't go on all the way. Nothing is in the way. Any ideas on how to help?

I used a clutch alignment tool to make sure the clutch disk and plate were aligned. I have a tranny jack that I used to get the transmission in place to roll straight into its correct position with the clutch. But when it wouldn't go all the way it, I rotated the input shaft splines slightly and tried again, still wouldn't go in all the way. Rotated again, nothing. Rotated again, nothing. Got underneath the transmission and wiggled several times, nothing.
