Each time I need gas, or in between driving to work, am still getting the P-0440 Code Evap Emission ctrl sys malfuction, Maybe need to replace my gas cap. Service Engine red light on left side of dash as well,
Now am getting additional Code P0446 Evap Emission ctrl sys vent circuit malfunction.? Please where do I go from here, will a new gas cap stop this problem. Thanks Margaret Tall, FL

Not with the P0446 have you checked all the fuses yet?

I was looking over the trouble tree for the P0446 and you need a test light and a scan tool a professional one that can command the canister purge solenoid and vent solenoid on and off.

Have checked all fuses and all is well. Going by auto zone to see if they can put there computer on and see what they come up with. Am lost. Thank you

Like I said problem is you need a professional scan tool a diyer one can't command the canister purge solenoid or vent solenoid on and off. You could have a stuck vent solenoid plugged line somewhere.
