I have just fited a new engine montins on a 1.6 8v 1998 renalt scinic now when you try and drive it it pops out the drive shaft on drivers side when trying to turn a corner why

There should be a 'C' clip on the splined end that holds the shaft in the trans, it may be broken, the shaft should click into place and stay put, check for a broken or missing clip.
