Could be the fuel pump fuse and fuel tank module or an open on the gray to the pump or a bad ground.

Previously the engine become wet under the hood at automatic car wash. It ran up until I turned off the key and never started again only clicked. The starter was deemed to be the problem so starter was changed out. The engine turned over but no start. Stopped for a few to gather my thoughts, attempted to turn key starter clicks this time as it did prior to new starter. There is probably a ton of problems possible but need to find where to start looking. Please assist.

How long has it sat since getting wet? From the description I would start by testing the battery. Both load and CCA, Then while it is out test the battery cables, the GM side mounts love to corrode right inside the rubber around the rings. Then you get vary low amp flow and the starter just clicks. They also let acid that leaks out run inside the cable and eat the cables. Check and clean both ends. A way to test this would be to run one side of a jumper cable to the starter and connect it to where the battery connects, then connect the other end to the battery positive. If it now wants to turn over and start you have a bad cable.

It may be the drl module causing the problem. Or the headlight switch. Have it scanned by a pro
