POWER DOOR LOCK 98
1998 Pontiac Bonneville • 6 cylinder FWD Automatic • 200,000 miles
I just purchased a used 98 pontiac bonneville with about 200,000 miles on it. Most things work fine, but i've disassembled the driver's side door in order to repair a power door lock that won't work and I think the problem is a disconnected rod. The actuator works fine and I can see a white plastic part moving up and down inside by the latch assembly when I hit the power lock switch, but the manual lock doesn't move and the door remains locked. How do I fix this? Also, the rear defroster doesn't work. The light comes on the button when I push it on the dash, but the heating elements are not working at all. Haven't investigated this one any further yet. Thanks
