Plymouth Voyager Coolant Problem

My fan on this vehicle turns on when it want,s to. I took it to a mechanic and he says that the motors of the fans are good and so is the relay. He states that the module is not kicking it in but he needs to test it at $95.00 an hour for about 2 hrs. to see what is the problem. Is there an easier and cheaper way to find out how to fix or reset the fan system to work?

you may have a bad coolant switch but it shold only turn on when the a/c is on or when thetemp is high enough to do that. You might check your thermostat as well if you have an infrared temp gauge see what teh upper hose is temp wise when engine is warm. It may not be needing togo on.
