1998 Opel Tigra Repair Question

The engine light comes on after driving for a while and stays on.
I noticed the cooling fan does not come on. I put live to the motor and it works. I think maby the temp. switch / thermostat are faulty. I dont know where to locate them. Maby you have a diagram ?

We don't have the references to this vehicle-I recommend you scan the computer for code/s-fan problem could be your suspicion, to include the relay and computer-
