98 Mercury Sable
My 98 Mercury Sable hestitates during acceleration. It also stumbles while just sitting. The idleing is fine. My check engine has been on for the year I have had it(I do need to fix my motor mounts and trany) but now it flashes only once I start to accelrate or sometimes after I have slowed down and need to speed up.

You need to get the codes from the check engine light scanned first to get a starting point.
