CAR wont start

My car wont start, could it be a starter or camshaft compressor sensor.I put new batteries in the key remote, and checked all of my fuses but. My key wont engage and allow me to start the car but I have power to the car. Starter. Please help thanks

If the starter isn't engaging, check to make sure it is getting power. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the small wire on the starter.
