Hello,

Anytime you have shifting issues, check the transmission fluid level first. As low fluid level can make it difficult for the transmission to shift. Also, this can be more noticeable when cold.

You could also have an internal issue with the transmission. It could have failure on the hydraulic system of the transmission. The pressure valve could be faulty and not providing sufficient pressure and the accumulator is not performing the shifts smoothly due to low fluid pressure.
