Lexus GS 300 Check engine light Problem

The VSC and VSC OFF and CHECK ENGINE lights are on. Took to AutoZone and they said the code reads the Accelerator position sensor is not reading correctly. It will not pull correctly whenever you press down on the gas pedal. It will not go. Was told to replace the TPS and that should fix the problem. Where is it located and how do I adjust the TPS once it is replaced?

What is the trouble code you are getting? Codes do not necessarily mean a bad component. The problem could be due to a loose wire connector or broken wires.
