1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Repair Question

98 grand cherokee 4.0 not starting. tried basic troubleshooting need more in depth info

98 grand cherokee 4.0 not starting. the truck has spark and i tested the fuel pressure. when pump primed i get 30psi. when turning over it jumps from 44 to 50 psi. after that rail holds at 44 psi. there doesnt seem to be and mechanical problems with motor it ran great the day before just wont start now. turns over fine battery is good. please point me in the right direction!
