1998 Jaguar XJ8 Repair Question

Engine trouble
I was reversing out of my driveway in my 1998 Jaguar XJ8 (automatic) and the car cut out on me. Tried to restart butit wouldn't fire up. Any suggestions?

Check to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel. One is most likely missing and that is the system you need to focus on.
