1998 Jaguar XJ6 the oil pressure at idle speed drops to near nothing
1998 Jaguar XJ6 mileage: 110,000. During hot weather, the oil pressure at idle speed drops to near nothing. During cooler weather, I do not see this fluctuation. Is this an oil cooler thermostat problem?

The oil pressure fluctuation is normal for an engine with 110,000. Try using 20/50 motor oil during the summer.
