1998 Isuzu Amigo stalling problem

The Amigo is a 5 speed 6 cylinder. I am having an issue with the car shutting off while turned on. When I turn the car on it idles at lower RPMs than normal and I often have to push the accelerator to keep the RPMs up so the engine doesn't shut off. I cannot shift from 2nd or 3rd gear to neutral and roll to a stop without the car turning off. Once I get to a stop sign I must rev the engine and keep the RPMs up to keep the car from shutting down. I have tried cleaning around the battery and securing connections on the battery. The battery is two and a half years old. I think this is a battery issue or possibly a gas line issue. What do you think the problem is?

This is an idling issue and you need to get the throttle body and Idle Air Control valve cleaned to get the idling speed up.
