Why is my car making humming sound when I turn car off?
I noticed when I turn my car off I hear a humming sound coming from rear of the car for a few minutes. Could you tell me what that might be?

the only thing back there is the fuel pump. if it is staying on, the main relay may be sticking.

Would changing main relay fix the problem. If so where is it located. Thank you

no clue till it is verified it is the pump and the relay is checked to see if it is the failure. we are giving suggestions based on your info. you need someone to verify it is even the fuel pump.
