Im trying to change the valve covers on my yukon and I am having trouble getting the driver side cover out, I already got the passenger out and replaced, I think the driver side. The problem holding it I think is that the compresser is in the way do I need to take that off or is there a trick or other way of getting it out.

Mitchell does not state bracket needs removal but that does not mean it doesn't. Does valve cover lift up but hits bracket and does not clear valve spring? If yes then bracket must come off
