What controls the initial input of fuel?
I have a 1998 GMC Sierra with the 4.3 Vortec 6 cyl engine that won’t start. If I put a shot of starting fluid in the throttle body it fires up and runs fine. If you shut it off it will start right back up but after it has sat for a few minutes you have to use the starting fluid again to get it started. Does a bad fuel pump cause this or is there another part of the system that controls this action?
