I replacing my central port spider injector unit for a standard port unit are the brackets compatible as for anything else that might be a issue? Thanks.

That engine never came with standard port injection unless you are talking about tbi. I or anyone else here would have no idea about the brackets unless we actually saw it or have done that switch

I was referring to the spider unit with the injectors are connected to there is the CFI version and there's also a upgraded version they're both still like spiders. Sorry for the confusion.

Your pic didn't' come through but if you still haven't done it yet use the upgraded version of the spider unit. It has different poppet valves on it everything else should work ok. Make sure to replace the o rings as well.

Do you mean gaskets for plenum, throttle body, and top of spiders?

Another concern to know, I heard that once you put the poppit in for the new injector unit that you can take them out. Is that true?
