My issue is this. My care works fine, it overheats after driving it for 35 or 40 min. Especially now that its getting warmer. I had a friend of mine who is a mechanic plug in a scanner/diagnostic tool and told me that my secondary fan isnt turning on when it suppose to help the car cool off. He told me everything is fine with the car. Thats my only problem with it. Unfourtanlty i believe he moved out of the city so hes not around anymore to do the repairs. When he told me this it was winter time and he had a lot of jobs to do so he told me he would get back to me before it got warmer. is there anything you guys can suggest i can do or check. I have a new water pump on it, new thermostat, radiator is seems to be good, but it is leaking. Possibly because the factory hose that is made out of metal is rusted and i replaced it with a rubber hose/ it hasn't given me any problems yet. I checked the fuses and seem to be in good order, but should i replace them just in case? Any suggestions will help, i haven't driven the car in over 2 weeks because the last time i did it kept overheating on me and i had to have it towed home.
