Ok, so my truck has started produceing a realy weird whineing sound when I accelerate. It sounds like an airplane or a vacume cleaner is in the cab with me. It only happens when I give it gass, or if I disengage the clutch and rev the engine. I just wanna figure out what it is and how I can fix this. The truck drives fine but that sound is very very anoying. Any insight would be much apriciated

Spray water on fan belt and if noise goes away replace belt and tensioner. If not then see if it goes away while clutch is in or out if it does it while clutch out it may be a trans problem so check fluid.
