Ford Ranger Alternator Problem
Vehicle stopped running. Would start when jumped, however when cables were disconnected it ran for a short priod of time and then died. Replaced negative battery cable and alternator (Bad diodes and regulator). Did not fix problem. Vehicle has a 4.0L motor and is a 5-speed, 2wd.
