1998 Ford F-150 Repair Question

Ford F-150 Gas Problem
I was driving my ford to work, it was having some idleing problems and if I let off the gas to turn or come to a complete stop it would shut off well I was driving to work and went to turn left let off the gas and my truck shut off on me, now it wont even start or crank over? I am not sure what is wrong with it. Please give me an answer
