what causing my car to skip and surge like its going to cut off. I replaced the MAF sensor and it runs worst now than it did before. What do i do now, the code says its running lean, please help

clean throttle plate with choke cleaner on both sides and iac hole if you have one. scan for codes and check fuel pressure. check engine for any grommet or vacuum line that has a hole in it or cut.
