you really are supposed to usea gauge to adjust the parking brake but if you adjut the shoe with the brake tool put a slight drag on it. it should have .020" clearance.

Parking Brake Shoe Adjustment (
Using Brake Adjustment Gauge (D81L-1103-A), measure inside diameter of drum portion of rear disc brake rotor. Adjust parking brake shoe and lining to .020" (.508 mm) less than drum measurement.
