Girlfriends 1.8 16v gti leaking fuel from rear from a round cannister looking object with two pipes entering each end do not know about cars could you help tell me what that is and how much it would cost to have replaced please
Fuel leaking from filter like object at rear two pipes one at iether end please could you help by what it is and how much a repair or and replacement will cost thank you

sounds as if the leak is at the filter, if it is a pipe fitting it just may need tightening up, you may need a new filter at around $25. depending on what brand, if the fule leak is from a damaged fuel pipe, this will have to be priced by your mechanic, best get a mechanic to check tis ASAP as this is a serious problem that need attention urgently as a fire hazzard is very real.
