1998 Ford Contour electrical? transmisison? issues
1998 Ford Contour with irregular speeding/slowing speedometer at steady driving speed, won't start then almost immediately will start, RPMs randomly race while driving, horn does not work. HELP, this is my daughters' college car and she is refusing to drive it because she thinks something will happen and she will be injured or killed.

at that mileage the trans is ready to go! maybe it has started to already! these cars have other issues also. i'd get a different car quick like!
