Hello!

I am a new (second hand) car owner and my dad is far away from me, so I was wondering if you could please explain to me (if possible) where I can check the levels of, and then fill up, the following:

Engine oil
Brake and clutch fluid
Antifreeze

Then do I need to have radiator stop leak in my radiator all the time, or is that just in case I encounter a problem along the road and need to drive to the next town or something?

I hope you can help me, I realise all of this may be hard to explain.

Regards,

Candice

The motor will have a dip stick coming out of it. That is where you check the motor oil. As far as the brake fluid, you check that at the master cylinder. The coolant can be checked at the overflow jug. As far as the stop leak, don't use it unless you have a leak. (Even then I question if it is a good idea) It should only be used as an emergency / temporary fix.
