I got into the fiat punto the other day and the indicators would not work, the mechanism was still working (as the lever returned to normal position once the car straightened from corner etc.) But no ticking and the lights on the dash that show the indicators are on were also not working (same again with hazards) this lasted for a day, I then got into the car the next day and the indicators were working again, all back to normal it seemed, I figured the issue related to the electrics and the cold / wet weather (it is an Italian car after all). Problem has now come back, any ideas?
Thank you.

The two light systems probably share a common flasher and its going bad. Id replace that first if its reasonably priced. As you said, its Italian, so who knows how much one could cost! HA
