1998 Dodge Ram Repair Question

Dodge Ram Engine Problem
The engine shut off and after it sat about fifteen minutes it restarted but now it will not attempt to move in any gear all linkage fuses and relays check good any ideas to whether im having a trans problem or computer problem

make sure trans is full of oil first. it sounds like a trans problem
