1998 Dodge Ram Cannot Get Sufficient Heat Thought Thermostat Stuck Open Changed

Cannot get sufficient heat. Thought thermostat was stuck open but changed it today with no difference. Old one seems fine. Temp gauge reads about 170 degrees average running temp. What can I check next?
