I have a 1998 ram 3500 with a v-10 engine blown 105,000 miles and auto trans engine is bad, tranny good. I also have a wrecked 1996 ram 3500 with a I - 6 deisel engine runs great 240,000 miles and a bad auto trans.
Question is will the motors swap and if so would it be easier to pull trannys out with engines and swap or leave them in. Also what else needs to be done to make the conversion?
