I have a check engine light and code p0500. I replaced the speed sensor in the transmission and still popping the code

Here is what we have for diagnostic steps. I would also check continuity on the wiring.

There was 6k of resistance on the wires

You need a volt-ohm meter. You can usually buy a decent one for less than 20 bucks.

I have one. I was getting a little over 6ohms. And I think that link u posted says then it's my computer. Could it be a speed sensor in my tire?

It could be a wheel speed sensor, but if the diagnostic procedure points to the ECM, that's probably what it is. Let me know if you want me to and I'll see what other info I can find a little later.

Ok. Here's the full DTC diagnostic I've got for code P0500.

I used the Automatic transfer case option, not the full-time because I didn't know which one you've got. I'm not sure if it will make any difference. I've also attached all three pages of the engine performance schematics.
