98 chevy tracker. from stop, was not accelerating, almost no power. giving more gas would make it stall. but, when up to speed, ran well. then, yesterday, would not start. I could smell gas and assumed it was flooded(this never happened before). waited and tried again unsuccessfully. today, same thing. battery is new. fuel filter is new. new O2 sensor #1. new catconverter. plugs and wires have been checked-ok. vacuum lines cleaned. engine compression checked -ok. idle adjusted. i'm running out of $.

Do some testing before replacing anything. How long since an overall tune-up. A tune-up is maintenance. Maintaing a vehicle does cost a little. Any applicable codes? Some of the national brand autostore used to check codes for free. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Not only check for correct pressure see if the pressure drops like a rock, with everything off. Some of the national brand autostores might loan out a fuel pressure gage? You may have to put up a deposit, but, you get your money back when you return the tool.
