1998 Chevrolet Tahoe steering

When driving at times I get that sensation you get when your car hydroplanes. Like a drift to the right with a loose feeling in the steering wheel. Have had front end checked and everything looks tight. Could this be a symptom of a bad steering box? If not what else can I check

Check tires as well unless they are new you can try moving front to back and see if it makes a difference. Make sure you do this on level road as well due to curvature of a lot of roads. Will make a vehicle do that.
