CHEVROLET TAHOE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH PROBLEM

My brake lights went out and so did my running lights, I changed the brake light switch and cleaned out the circuit board where the bulbs plug into on both rear sides and it fixed the problem but the next day my battery was dead and now when I try to use anything in on the tahoe that requires power, locks windows lights etc, I hear a continuous clicking noise coming from around the brake light switch, it may even be coming from the brake light switch.
