I requested the location of the ambient air temperature sensor on a 1998 S-10 / S-14 pick up answer was given as to the hood latch support. It is not there. The wiring harness comes across just below that location but no sensor wire comes out of the harness at that location. The ambient air temperature sensor came up on a computer scan for a check engine light along with a MAP sensor which I changed. There are 2 different listings for a S-10 on a parts query at my local parts store. There is a 1.5 inch square x 3/8 inch green plug-in behind the radiator support under the air filter box that I am suspect of but do not know what it is? Wayne

You didn't say if automatic tranny or manual? Mod for the automatic said, right radiator baffle support.

The only wiring I could find was for the IAT/intake air temp, and that is in the airduct.

If you have auto a/c, repair manual says it is located on right radiator support baffle, with manual a/c it is located on hood latch.
