1998 Chevrolet Metro Repair Question

Ok my dad has a 98 chevy and wants to know if there is a way to advance or retard the timing the car cranks and runs good.

I jus figured since he has 2 ignition coils mounted to the camshaft housing it might b different than a distributor.

Distributor less ignition timing is computer controled there is no adjustment thr computer advances and retards the ignition timing as needed.
