what are the common problems with the automatic transmissions, and what cost to replace or repair?
Considering buying a used one and it has automatic trans shifting problems.

It is difficult to list out common problems but the thing that is common is repairs are usually expensive ranging from $1000 to more than $4000.
Simple faults as loose wirings or bad solenoids would be a much cheaper situation.
