98 Metro rattles while accelerating.

My 98 Metro has what sounds like a body rattle from behind the dash while accelerating in drive. It does not make the sound while rolling in neutral, or accelerating in reverse. It will also not make this noise while revving the engine either in neutral (and moving) or while parked. I replaced the timing belt last spring and had to replace the alternator bolts at the same time. Both front axles and the exhaust system were replaced last spring, and the rear brakes were also replaced this fall. The car otherwise drives very well. The motor sounds good and the suspension feels tight and makes no noise while turning or swerving. I also had the fan blower turned off while testing. Any ideas?

I would check the engine and transmission mounts for being broken or colasped.
