Will a 1997 motor Fit in a 1998?

I am putting a motor in a 1998 cavalier. The engine is a 2.2. I have a motor from a 1997 which is also a 2.2. Will this work?

As long as they are both overhead cam or pushrod type engines. I forget what year they changed. Make sur eto put all the 98 stuff on them like sensors so you don't have to change computers or wiring harnesses
