Fuel Pressure

Would a bad fuel pressure sensor or regulator (they might be the same thing) cause the engine to slightly hesitate when idling. Almost like it isn't firing right. It is idling just above 5000 RPM's. I have replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and it still idles low. My engine light has come on twice with code P0452 but it doesn't stay on.

Did you mean 500 rpms? Clean the throttle-body and idle air control. Check the tps.
