1998 Buick Lesabre hard starting

Hard start hot/cold no check eng. Light coming on. Car runs perfect after starting. Problem comes/goes. On starting car seems like its getting to much gas and then clears itself and runs perfect.

You need to start by checking fuel pump pressure. There could be too little or too much pressure due to a weak pump or a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

Check that and let me know what you find.
