Volkswagen Eurovan Shifter Problem
My shifter is stuck and i cannot get out of park?
It is running, i have turned the wheel, with my foot on the brake.
The small button on the shirter will not go in or depress

Do your brake lights work? Do you hear a "clicking sound" from the shifter when you step on the brake pedal?
Could be a bad brake light switch or park/neutral starter/interlock relay as well.
