Rotor assembly sticks to rotor even after the 5 bolts are removed (rotor and assembly are completely removed from the axle). Do I need to spray the assembly down with WD40 and pound it off with a hammer, or is there a better less primitive way.

Hi
Caliper is held on spindle by two bolts coming in from rear ie. Toward engine then it will slide off rotor. Rotor stays mounted to spindle. Not sure what 5 bolts you removed see diagram maybe it will help
