Distributor

I have a 97 toyota corolla and it occasionally runs rough where it is difficult to accerlate past 30-50 mph and while it does that, as soon as you ease off the gas pedal, the car comes immediately to a stop. Then you cut the car off and 30 mins later, its back to running normal. I have had already had oil change, plugs, wires, distributor cap done. What do you think it is?

Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
