1997 Toyota Celica Repair Question

Ignition
I put the key in the ignition and it will not turn. the gear shift is all the way in park.replaced the battery in the control to open doors and ahve done everything i know. any ideas of what could be the isssue

Is the key worn down?If so do you have a spare key that isn't worn down?
