Occassionally sputters on startup and stalls out. When it starts to sputter I press the accelerator and hold the RPMs a little higher than normal idle and after about a minute it runs fine. This has happened a couple of times…very spaced out. When it happens the check engine light comes on for a couple of days. By the time I got it to the mechanic the light went back out and he said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Also, when it happens I smell gasoline.
