My 1997 saturn SW2 doesn't seem to be shifting into 3rd gear at all...Check engine code states error about 3rd gear. I tried replacing the valve body, which didn't help at all...I replaced the fluid, filter, and checked resistance of the solenoids as well. could this be a loose i/o shaft nut?
there is a slight hard shift into reverse.
All other shifts are fine into other gears except 3rd.
only 77,000 miles.
